Where did you grow up? I was born in a small village in the South of Germany, Europe If married, How did you meet your spouse? I am single mother with a beautiful daughter. Shaniece is 14 years and loves to travel, chatting with her friends, music, playing violine and eating good food. We spend a lot of quality time together. What did you study in college and why? My passion was to work in a social field with international people, to provide excellent services and also to travel to know and experience different cultures. I studied at the Hotel Management and Catering school in Austria, then completed my master`s degree (vocational baccalaureat in english?) and received my diploma in Hotel & Touristic Management in Italy. I also completed master degree in Italian language. For my continuing education I studied, qualified and received my diploma of "bioenergetic extrasens" and on part time basis I studied and received the diploma of "success trainer" What were your goals or ambitions after college (high school)? To work with people and discover the world. I decided to work with international Hotels, television companies for tourism magazine, internat. Shows, Hotel Chains. I represented 4 and 5 star Hotel Chains in different European countries, travelled extensively. I was also working for Government Tourism Boards, organized exhibitions, roadshows etc. Had you ever done network marketing/direct selling before NuSkin? Yes, I worked with 2 different network marketing companies. The opportunity sounds wonderful at the beginning but the companies did not deliver on their promises or product quality. I came to the conclusion to never work for a multi level any more. Anything unique about you that other people may not know about you? I am determined to succeed. I had many challenges in life with many difficult strokes of fate going against me but I always persisted and kept on going by setting new goals. I never gave up in life even though at times I had many reasons to do so. I committed to work hard knowing that one day I would have a better life. My best asset is that I depend on myself for motivation today I am proud of my accomplishments. I work many hours a day despite challenges, difficulties, upsets etc nothing can be achieved in comfort there is always some pain. My success was about being full of inspiration and also being full of an equal amount of perspiration. 12 years ago I met a famous solo dancer names Duane Cyrus who performed in Munich with the Alvin Ailey dance company. I saw and admired his perfection and discipline. After a while I met him in New York again and enjoyed so much his performances. Then I organized him some solo performances in Europe and we were talking about goals setting and what we would like to achieve in life. Just a couple of days ago, we were on the telephone and Duane said he still keeps our goal settings in writing under his desk and see - all those years we both were working hard - but we both became very successful. Duane has his own Cyrus Art production now and achieving great success in USA. I appreciate this long term growth of friendship. Networking is like professional dancing: you do it everyday! It is important to practise every day, only like this you become a true leader or famous performer! Any other personal experiences in your past that have helped make you who you are? I had to raise my daughter as a single mother, I had to work more then full time to make it (to pay all my bills). Only through persistance, keeping my focus to make it and work very hard on all levels, I became very strong. I worked hard, met the challenges, paid the price for me and my daughter - it was worth it!!! Discipline, honesty and staying focused will bring success to everyone. What was your occupation (or still is your occupation) before you joined NuSkin? I worked with the government tourism board in Switzerland What did you like and dislike about your previous job? I liked the job by itself, but I did not enjoy being in an employment base all the time, as we had only 4 weeks vacation per year, I worked too many hours per week and often also on weekends, I did not have enough time for my daughter and household. No time for Hobbies at all. I could not use my creativity and ideas in that job, there was no space or opportunity to develop my own dreams of what I wanted to achieve in life. The monthly salary was just enough to pay for all bills and maybe have a vacation once or twice a year. Not much was left for savings or retirement. How and when were you introduced to NuSkin? Through a German therapist and mental trainer I was introduced to Nu Skin in 13. April 2005. I was totally broke and had not worked due to illness. I really did not want to join another network marketing anymore but I was interested in this new wellness technology with Galvanic Spa and was positively surprised about the concept. After signing up I tested the products (very quick and positive results) and concepts and started working part time without knowing anything about the compensation plan. As I did not want to do network marketing any more I did not want to waste time into learning a new compensation plan. After a couple of month I saw the positive feedback from all people and that motivated me to go on. As my team grew so strong and I had so much fun working with Nu Skin, I quit my job in January 2006 and was totally independent in March 2006. So since March 2006 I was totally free and had more time and freedom for my family and dedicated all my attention to Nu Skin and felt very happy about it. After one year joining Nu Skin Enterprises I decided to go to see our head office in Frankfurt. Before I only had phone contact with the company, I did not know anyone! Since I quit my job I finally was my own boss, could realize all my ideas because Nu Skin gives us the opportunity to work world wide and there are no limits. So I put my focus to build up international wide and work also a lot from home to be close to my daughter. 1.07.2006 I was already Blue Diamond and I qualified to THE FIRSTTeam Elite IN CENTRAL EUROPE at the end of May 2007. The beautiful story about is, that our success does not depend on the product like the Galvanic Spa. Our concept works with every other NSE product! What was it about YOUR NuSkin that intrigued you the most? The people in my business, our team of distributors is really great and strong through our special concept we use, teach and live. Leadership is very important to give every distributor the strength to reach the goal. I love the Nu Skin products, all of them, they are all excellent. Building up a great team with 12 leaders in frontline is the best any distributor can do. What was your reason or your “Why” for joining NuSkin? Has it changed since you’ve been in the business? Nu Skin covers all what people need to live better and longer. Every one worldwide needs those products anyway. Nu Skin offers 4 different brands and we can work worldwide with it and profit financially from the world market and that forever! Working hard for the first few years can bring residual income for the whole life after. Working with Nu Skin creates enough time and money and sooo much freedom. It is my definitive dream job! What were your short-term goals when you first started? Honestly I did not beleive in making money with network marketing, seeing my checks after a couple of month I was so very surprised that this gave me a lot of motivation to go on with Nu Skin. It gave me a vision for my future job! Slowly I discovered all other products and set goals. I also was looking then for entrepreneurs who were willing to help in NTC. What are your roles in the business? What role does your family play in your business? My daughter was present at my very first Nu Skin demonstrations and assisted me. She already learned so much about this business that she wants to become a Nu Skin distributor in the future as well. How has NuSkin changed your life? What has it allowed you to do that you couldn’t have done previously? Nu Skin changed my life in a positive way. Being independent, I can work when and where I want. I choose the people I want to work with, I can travel around the world and build up my business wherever I want. I am able to work from home, so I am close to my daughter. In all school holidays we can leave home to go on vacation or build our business in other countries. So we have more time for each other and my daughter is integrated in what I am doing. We now also find time for our hobbies and are able to get exclusive workshops with the showproducer and musicalstar Calvin Hard . Travel to NY to enjoy the Broadway shows and meet our friends we have not been seen for so long time. If you were to summarize in a paragraph what has made you a success, what would you say? MY WORK ETHIC AND MY GPN TRAINING, while others are enjoying their freetime in cinema, at the lake, out in coffee shops or clubs - I am sponsoring and building my business - dedicating every day with building my business and stabilizing it, helping and dedicating 95% of my time to my downlines to achieve the same, teaching new distributors, holding presentations etc. The first few years it is very important to build this business strong, more you do in the first year, more you will have in the following years as passive income. What have the products (or services) done for you and those of your customers? The Nu Skin and Pharmanex and Big Planet products are the very best I ever experienced. You see and feel results immediately and we can even prove the results with the Biophotonic scanner or Pro Derm. All customers and distributors are very happy with all products. My health got so much better since when I take the Pharmanex supplements and nutritions, my scan score is much higher now and my body feels much stronger. We also measure and work with famous people in the sport field. So many people tell me that they feel better, have more energy and power and I already could write book about all their stories they tell me. Through the Nu Skin cosmetic and Galvanic Spa my skin looks much better now and I look younger then before! Friends and clients or other distributors tell me that they have less discolorations or much smaller pores since using the Galvanic Spa, we are able to lift the whole body with it and achieve better body contouring. People with hair problems can fix it with Nutriol and are so happy about the immediate results! I also learn a lot from doctors who join my team working with NSE products. Some of my friends lost lots of weight with the Pharmanex products. So for every need we have a solution! What gets you excited about the future? What gets you out of bed each morning ready to go and work even harder? I love and appreciate to work with my collegues in GPN and with new people because with Nu Skin Enterprises we can create a lot of good part time and full time incomes, I see myself as an "income designer" helping other people to make the money they need or desire in life (from small amounts to huge amounts), achieve a free and better & longer lifestyle, create passive income for the future, be able to discover the world, have more time for family, look and feel better, get to know wonderful people all over the globe, learn so much about personality, culture and education in general. What are your future goals? How have goals changed since you’ve been in the business? My future goals are much bigger now than ever before in my life as I saw the potential with NSE. I am now able to give my daughter a very good school education, this is most important for me. Would I have been still employed I would not have the financial ability to do that. I am looking for entrepreneurs worldwide to build a strong and stabile business and work together as part of GPN around the globe. How are you making a difference in the lives of others today? Yes, before I was employed I had to see how I can support myself and raise my daughter. I was not able to do a lot of charitable work for others as first I had to take care of the basic needs for myself and my child. Now I am able to work with NTC and help many kids in need but also I dedicate a certain amount to a lovely 3 years old boy in Bali. His mother is a very good therapist and has to work about 7 flight hours away to support her family. She see`s her little son only 1-2 times per year. She was crying when she talked about it and showed me a very small picture of her son that she always keeps close to her body. This story touched my heart so much that now I help this little boy every month for school education and my goal is to help her as much that one day soon she can be with her son again seeing him growing up. We are able now to help children in need with Nourish the Children. With only about 20 Euro per month a child gets 3 full meals per day for a whole month. What would you say to someone who is looking into NuSkin for the first time? I would find out about his desires of life first, then I would talk about products and the business opportunities. NSE is a stable company with 22 year track record of success. If I was a prospect, and you could only tell me ONE REWARD you’ve reaped from your success as an consultant, be it financial or otherwise, what would it be? Peace of mind about a successful future for my family What are your most important things you’ve been able to afford since achieving success with YOUR COMPANY? Beeing closer to my daughter, spending nice vacation with my daughter, being able to give a good school education to my daughter, being there for my mother and thanking her for her support, helping people in need, be totally free to decide about my work schedule, get financially independent because of passive income, people thank me because I was able to show them a better way in life....this is the most beautiful gift in this business if you make others happy! What’s it like to be your own boss? It is the absolute feeling of worldwide freedom. I enjoy every second of my life being my own boss! Because I take the decision of my life now and I am not in the situation anymore to be run by other people. I am the one who decides about my life, I can create and realize all my ideas and dreams. If one day we want to move to a different country, we are free to do so as for Nu Skin we can work from the whole world. What are your daily, weekly and monthly goals? How do you keep them in the forefront? Most important thing is honesty, goals to help others in my team to achieve the same success, building the business with honest people, giving opportunities to everyone, working with every honest person who wants to make it. Teaching motivation, holding presentations and helping downline to qualify. I have a monthly plan with city tours where I am teaching and presenting. This brings duplication everywhere and strengthens all participating partners and their business contacts. Doing this business every day! My biggest goals in this business are to make all my willing distributors successful as me, helping them to achieve the Team Elite Status in order for them to achieve a much better life style and experience the feeling of success in all ways. What is your definition of a leader? I show my group by daily activities of myself (I work myself every day and show my downline all my activities and be an example) I work with my group all the time and teach many times a week and I am always present. What does a typical day look like for you? Early morning answering e-mails and creating info mails and planning tours for next presentations. Answering questions on the phone, giving motivations to my team, have midday lunch with my daughter (not always possible), afternoon meetings with clients or distributors and evening presentations for guests and teaching compensation plan for groups.
